Dominant Dog Collar
- Designed specifically for aggressive dogs
- Not intended to give a sharp correction
- IMPORTANT FITTING INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
Neck Measurement
If your dog's measurement falls between two sizes, round down to the next smaller size. Do not add any extra length to the measurement for slack. If a collar is too big it will not be as effective for training. A properly fit collar will remain in place behind the ears and not slide down the neck.
Collar Length Measurement
Collars may shrink slighty after sewing and should be pulled gently from either end to expand them to their full length before measuring.
Specifically designed for use on handler aggressive or dog aggressive dogs. These collars are excellent for lowering the drive and taking the fight out of a dog. DO NOT jerk this collar to deliver a correction. The proper way to use the collar is to SLOWLY lift straight up on the collar, until the dog ceases the behavior and settles.
IMPORTANT: MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS
Dominant dog collars must be fit tightly to your dogs neck. They are available in 1 inch increments. Use a string or cloth tape to measure around the dog's neck. Measure just under the jaw and around the neck directly behind the ears. The string or cloth tape must be tight to get a proper measurement. There should be no space between the dog's neck and the tape measure or string. If the measurement falls between two sizes, round down to the next smaller size.
Do not add any additional length to the measurement for slack. If a dominant dog collar is too large it will not be as effective for training. A properly fit collar will remain in place and not slide down the dog's neck.
A dominant dog collar is not intended to give a sharp correction, it is intended to lower the dog's drive level.
